Tony Delicata

Tony’s first taste of treading the boards was running theatre styled workshops for children at the 
'Theatre Workshop' in Edinburgh.

In 1990, he became a professional actor and has worked in a number of major cities in the 
UK – from London’s West End to the historic stage of Perth Theatre.

His experiences in theatre have been diverse. Productions including: Difficult People (UK tour), Gargantua (Edinburgh Fringe 1998), Lend me a Tenor (Perth Rep Theatre), Broadway Bound, Confusions, Dracula Day, Wizard of Oz, however his passion for theatre flourished through more comedic roles and found his love for panto performing and taking the lead comedy roles in a number of productions, Jack and the Beanstalk (Perth Rep Theatre), Dick Whittington (Blackpool & London), Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Babes in the Wood, Robin Hood, Snow White.

Tony’s involvement in theatre has gone full circle, setting up and becoming Artistic Director/script writer of Leith Festival Theatre Productions, later becoming known as Leith Community Theatre (LCT), where he wrote and directed their first two pantomimes, A lad in Leith (2010) and Snow White & the 7 Leithers (2011).

Tony was also a  presenter on Edinburgh local radio (Castle FM), taking over as Breakfast Presenter in 2011-2012


In 2012, Tony set up and became Artistic Director of Kingdom Theatre Company . With John Murray, co-founder of Kingdom Theatre, the pair collaborated together on the writing for their hit Edinburgh Fringe show, 'Sinatra the Final Curtain'. Gaining many favourable 5 star reviews.
Tony remained Artistic Director and co-writer for Kingdom Theatre for the next 3 years. During that time with Kingdom Theatre, Tony was also Festival Director of Leith Festival from 2013 - 2017
Tony created Atina Arts in 2016


In his spare time, Tony can also be seen and heard delivering some of the great Rat Pack and
friends songs in venues across Scotland.
